Dan Cassenti, Novelist

Victims of narcissistic abuse can reclaim their lives by using a host of techniques. Victims often believe that defense means playing the same games against narcissists that they deploy, but the best approaches are the opposite. We need to quit playing those games entirely by using the skills that narcissists try to deprive of victims and that narcissists themselves lack. Battling narcissism isn’t about defeating the narcissist. If a narcissist targeted you, the primary reason was due to your virtues. It’s not time to change yourself, except by learning these defenses, so you destroy the narcissist’s hold over you, ensure that narcissistic dysfunction doesn’t take over your way of life, and fortify yourself never to let it happen again. Click the links below to learn more about defensive techniques that accomplish these three goals.
